My art piece has been accepted into my first-ever juried exhibition!

“Where the Wild Things Unwind” debuted at the Call of the Wild exhibit through the Visual Art League of Lewisville in 2021.  If you missed that excitement, visit my blog post here.  The same piece has been accepted into my first-ever juried* exhibition, ART214.  ART214 is a multi-venue event through The City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture.

My art piece has been accepted into my first-ever juried exhibition!

ART214 takes place in April and is a celebration of Dallas Arts Month.  Five facilities are participating in the exhibition:

  • Bath House Cultural Center
  • Latino Cultural Center
  • Moody Performance Hall
  • Oak Cliff Cultural Center
  • South Dallas Cultural Center.

My art piece has been selected for the South Dallas Cultural Center.  All are encouraged to visit the beautiful venue that is minutes from Fair Park.  Enjoy free parking and free entry into the exhibition.  For more information:  https://sdcc.dallasculture.org/exhibitions/

“Hop” around Dallas to be inspired by local artists, meet new people and discover learning opportunities!

When we dropped my art off for intake day, they were having a fascinator (hats) class later in the afternoon.  They even had one seat left for ME but I had previous engagements.  They also have walking tour photography classes, sewing machines and printing presses.  What a marvelous, creative space!
