Seeing My Dale Carnegie Instructor Again After 15 Years

I walked into a bowling alley Friday evening—not sure what to expect. But it’s a room full of Carnegies, so I’m in a good place.

I smiled and greeted people. Then I saw him.

Frank Starkey, my Dale Carnegie instructor from 2011.

I looked at him, he looked at me, and I grinned from ear to ear.

The best way I can describe it is seeing a famous person… or a rock star… or Santa Claus.

No.

Actually, someone better.

This individual changed my life and my perspective in 2011. He set the tone within the first few minutes of the very first Dale Carnegie session, and that made all the difference.

Fifteen years later, I still remember that pivotal moment.

Thank you, Frank Starkey!

If you’re curious about the Dale Carnegie Course and how it can benefit you in your professional and personal life, let me know! I’d be happy to buy you a coffee (or tea!) and tell you about my experience. Plus, I can tell you about an opportunity to attend a free preview session in September!
