Written by Finnegan for a class assignment at the Reform School for Creepy Dolls
Mom normally takes my older brother, Percival on grand adventures. But this time she told me to gather my things for an adventure. She even let me pick which town we’d visit. What I didn’t know, it would turn in to HOMEWORK. This is my report on my adventure in Pilot Point, Texas. I hope you enjoy. Love, Finn.
I selected Pilot Point, Texas for our adventure. The town was featured in a movie directed by my mom’s friend, Justine. If you like quirky humor, then check out “lowbrows, an arthaus comedy” on Amazon. I don’t get sales commissions but I do accept cookies. Especially homemade.
We arrived after a short drive and mom insisted I sit in this chair. Everyone was snickering, I didn’t know why. Then I saw the photo….
Then I posed in front of City Hall. I think I’d like to be Mayor of this town someday.
Mom insisted I sit in front of the police station, “for old time’s sake.” I am pleased to report since joining the reform school I’ve been on the straight and narrow path.
Speaking of my past, mom discovered something about me. She didn’t know I was in the circus many years ago.
It was a wonderful feeling to be in my natural element! The glitz, the glamour, the showmanship. And not once did I fall! (My brothers fall off chairs all the time. I’m far more skilled and graceful!)
Next, I posed in front of my best friend Justine’s murals. Yes, she painted them! I’m hoping when I become Mayor of Pilot Point that she paints my face on one of the buildings…. I think my handsome face on a building would really enhance the town.
Mom always says I have an unforgettable face. Well, here’s a close-up so no one forgets.
Here’s another of Justine’s murals. It’s also featured in Justine’s movie.
The last photo is me wishing we didn’t have to leave. We had such a fun adventure without my pesky brothers.
P.S. Don’t forget to vote Finnegan for Mayor of Pilot Point.
Special thanks to my best pal, Chance of Chance Loves Plaid on Instagram. He has been rallying for me to get out of the house. Mom finally listened. Finally. Be sure to follow Chance’s Instagram. And don’t forget to follow my Instagram, incorrectly named “Percival Sunshine“. Also, don’t forget to send homemade cookies.
How adorable! How creative! Loving the sun on his face near the police station. Clever
Heather!
Thank you for reading the blog!
I placed the doll on the brick just to put him somewhere. Then I realized the brick and lighting would work for a great shot. Quite a happy accident!

Finn, this report garners an A+!
Thanks, pal! This will really help my grade point average. I hope to graduate soon… or at least someday…. – Finnegan
