HO scale miniatures

Happyville Botanic Gardens

Richard is enjoying a peaceful hike through Happyville Botanic Gardens and Wildlife Refuge.  The flowers are in full bloom with their bright and cheery array of colors.

Date:  April 13, 2020
Camera: Canon EOS 5D Mark IV
Notes:  With my marshmallow Peeps series complete, I needed something new.  I found an art gallery in London with some fun weekly challenges on their Instagram page.  IG:  @saatchi_gallery.  For this week’s challenge, they want followers to post something creative using household objects and miniatures.  It’s an obvious theme for my interests but it took me awhile to find inspiration.  When I saw the unusual shaped pins it all came together quite easily.  My goal was to create a tulip lined path that I might find at the Dallas Arboretum.

Supplies used:

  • Assortment of sewing colorful sewing pins
  • Styrofoam that has been spray painted green
  • HO scale miniature hiker
  • Cardstock for the “sidewalk”
