I recently visited the Johnson Branch Unit of Ray Roberts Lake State Park. Here are some highlights.
The wildflowers were plentiful.
Times like this I wish I had a tripod with me but I’m sure by the time I set it up, my subject would fly away.
I’ve never seen these types of birds’ nests in person. A quick Google search suggests they are swallow nests.
I think the photo below might be my best fly photo to date. It’s not for everyone but try taking a photo of a fly and you’ll quickly realize it’s not that easy.
