All I could think about today was coming home and playing in my photography studio. But by the time I got home, the day had been a mixed bag of news. Maybe I’d just go to bed?
But I couldn’t. I made plans to have fun and I was determined to follow through.
I’m glad I did! I wouldn’t have come up with this photo: Every cloud has a silver lining…
Or this photo…
I’m not sure how I managed to get the miniatures to balance. I was prepared to stay up for a long time until I got the shot but it came together faster than anticipated.
Camera: Big Bertha (Canon 5D Mark II)
Lens: My beloved Macro Lens (Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 L macro IS)
Date: February 2016
Notes: I held polyester stuffing in front of the coin and also behind the coin to get the effect. Absolutely no tape, glue or Photoshop was used to secure the miniatures or the coin – just old fashioned grit, determination and tweezers.
Special thank you to Donna and Dan for this Silver Dollar.
Wow!
