I’m using winter as my excuse to let the garden remain in shambles. But I must admit I’m generally embarrassed when friends come over and have to step around the dead plants along the walkway.
This weekend I decided to photograph the hydrangea. Technically, it’s coming back in the Spring but admittedly I should cut it back down. I will after I get my fill of photos…

Now let’s take a look from an unflattering angle. Yikes!
Tip:
Don’t overlook opportunities to take photos. If you were walking past the plant featured in the last photo you wouldn’t consider taking a picture. But as the first photos demonstrated, it’s all about perspective. Try to find beauty where others may not see it.
