This week’s Random Object Wednesday participant is Roy Garland.
When he lent me the item he warned me to be very careful unwrapping it— the copper uncoiled rather fast as I opened the package.
I examined the metal and knew it had potential.
Here’s the plain shot of the metal against a white background using the Canon G11.
Now for some fun!
Uncoiled.
Fun with light and angles.
I thought a blue poster board as a background might be fun. I was wrong. I didn’t like this at all.
I decided a yellow poster board as a background might be better. I do like this shot.
More fun with yellow as a background.
Shiny poster board as a background.
More experiments. This time with vegetable cans sitting inside the metal coil — can’t get any more random than that.
Camera used: Big Bertha (Canon EOS 5D Mark II)
Date: November 2013
