I ‘planted’ myself in the middle of my flower beds—or what used to be until grass took over.  My goal was to remove the overgrown grass and stray weeds.  That’s when I noticed this spider scurrying away from me.

When I garden I have a camera around my neck so that I can be prepared for anything and this was just the right occasion.  To make it easier to photograph, I decided to use a glove to transport the spider to my patio.  Here are highlights from the Spider Photo Shoot.
