Connections by Denise Holguin - UNT CoLab

“Connections” – A community art exhibition with the UNT CoLab

This canvas is part of the square-d project Community Art Exhibition through the UNT CoLab.  To participate, individuals purchased the 12” x 12” canvas and were instructed to apply their artistry in any way they wanted.  All participants donate their finished art, which is sold for $25 each during the exhibit. Out of the Ashes is currently on display at the Lewisville Grand Theater.

The random objects are a connection to people and moments in time that led to this piece. My role was to see the possibility and to be open to the creative process.
