I’ve spotted trees with berries at the LBJ National Grasslands. I desperately want to eat them – but I’m not certain if they are safe to eat. Take a look.
They look delicious.
I think (?) these are mulberry trees and the berries are edible. Feedback is appreciated.
Here’s a link on mulberry trees in Texas.
Since I won’t ever be able to safely identify all the mushrooms I see in the wild (I wish I could eat them), I figure these berries could be a safe alternative. 😉
