I plopped myself down on the sandy soil to photograph yellow flowers. But this fly caught my attention on another plant. At the time I thought I was photographing a very accommodating live fly. Not until I downloaded the photos did I discover an entirely different scenario. Take a look.
Isn’t it amazing?! These are the quiet moments of discovery I love.
