With last year’s flooding I’ve noticed changes at nearly every park I visit this season: MUSHROOMS!
I used to have a very limited supply of mushroom photos. Now I have surplus.
Here are highlights from a recent visit to Lake Tawakoni State Park.
I didn’t think the photo below was a mushroom but a quick search suggests it’s a cauliflower mushroom – and based on my research, these mushrooms are edible.
Camera: Canon EOS 5D Mark II (Big Bertha)
Lens: My beloved 100 mm macro lens (Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 L macro IS)
Date: June 2016
Equipment: Manfrotto MK190XPRO3-BHQ2 Tripod
Additional notes: I photographed the mushrooms using f-stop 32. I wanted as much detail of the entire scene as possible. The tripod came in particularly handy.
