I took a Monday off from work last month to visit the Dallas Arboretum. Zero color/lighting adjustments were made to the photos in Photoshop or any other program. What you see is what I photographed just as I saw it.
Before publishing this post I was trying to think of the perfect title for the blog. I thought “Drama in the Garden” but it doesn’t convey the right meaning. I text my friend Tore who is a wordsmith – explaining the type of word I needed. I need a word that explains beauty – the Katherine Hepburn type of beauty – that is refined and elegant. As Tore said, “a daisy is adorable. These flowers are elegant.” It became clear, the title for this blog should be: “Elegance in the Garden”.

Would you share prints of these elegant photos? Or the files so I can print them? They are gorgeous and I have the perfect spot- right next to a beautiful purple flower you shared!
