This cat, who has asked to remain anonymous, has climbed onto my lap in the past, but I’ve never really bonded with it.  I’m not a cat person—I prefer small dogs—ideally my dog.  But this time, the cat was sitting at the top of the stairs, peering down at my friends and me.

I happened to have my camera and began photographing the cat.  Between the sniffles and watery eyes (I’m allergic to cats) this cat and I had a great bonding experience.  In fact, I had to pull myself away— I could have taken dozens upon dozens more photos.  Does that make me a crazy cat lady?
