A local department store is going out of business and everything must go… including their leg models from their shoe and hosiery department.

I started out with just two legs.  But then I had to buy more… I went home with 5 legs today.  There’s no telling how many more I’ll end up buying.

From this angle you can appreciate how light the models are on their feet!

I took the legs home and decided the feet needed socks.

Then I realized the legs would make great containers for flowers.

As you might have guessed, this post launches a new ongoing series and a new category for the blog:  Body Image.*  I have a collection of artificial hands, heads, ears and more that I’ll share throughout the year.
