Driving along Texas State Highway in McKinney, I noticed an unexpected splash of color along the side of the road. I didn’t know where or how to get closer—so I recruited a friend to help make it happen.
He parked the car on the grass – next to the other cars that made makeshift parking spots. The field was densely packed with flowers. There were a few trails inside the field. I walked through the flowers and got covered in pollen. It felt like I could get lost in the field of yellow. It was an experience like few others.
Here are the highlights of the sunflower photo shoot.
