It was a gluttonous day of photographing butterflies at the Dallas Arboretum last weekend. There were so many butterflies they almost became blasé! Almost.

Tips:
– When photographing butterflies, try to take as many shots as possible. This way you have plenty of options to choose from just in case some don’t turn out as well as you had hoped.
– Photograph butterflies when they are in season! Check out the migration schedule of the Monarch butterfly by doing a Google search. Monarchs go to Mexico and California for the winter. Here is a link I found from the US Forest Service.
