No, it’s not a typo. The name of the hotel is 21c Museum Hotel. It’s not like any other hotel I’ve visited. It’s a quirky hotel combined with an art gallery that speaks to my unusual taste.
This piece of art welcomes you at the entrance of the hotel. The moment I saw it, I knew I was home. And I now have ideas of what to do with my own collection of bones, skulls and mannequin parts…
Here’s a look at the lobby. The penguin is one of several in the hotel and they are moved throughout the day.
A treadmill as art. You may have one in your home but with clothes hanging on the sides. But yours lacks the je ne sais quoi to be considered art. 😉
A basketball hoop tree.
The Hive restaurant inside the hotel.
One of the penguins at The Hive.
And another penguin.
Enough about penguins. There are also rubber ducks in the shower.
This was my room, complete with retro lighting and dog pillows.
You don’t have to be a guest at the hotel to enjoy the art. The gallery is open to the public and changes periodically. The next few pieces captured my interest.
A closeup of the same art piece. It must have taken a tremendous amount of time and patience to create! (Those are pin pricks on paper)
This is the description for the next piece I’ll show you. Once you read it, you’ll understand why I was captivated.
The piece reminds me of the abandoned places I’ve visited (The Baker Hotel).
In conclusion, make a trip to Bentonville and visit the 21c Museum Hotel. If you can’t make it to Bentonville, fret not. They have other locations! Click here to visit the hotel website.

Notes: I hope the art has inspired you as much as it did me.
