I was searching for some other images this evening when I came across this one.  This was originally going to be for the magazine (my day job) but I couldn’t get the final shot I wanted so I filed the idea away.

Lens:  My beloved 100 mm macro lens (Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 L macro IS)
About the photo:  I drew clouds on paper then digitized them in embroidery software.  Very simplistic but that was the effect I wanted.  The green/pink embroidery was a test stitch-out meant to represent a field.
