Here are highlights from my ongoing exploration of the LBJ National Grasslands.
I spotted this frog at the end of the trail. I had my 70-200 mm lens on the camera – which was quite handy to take a photo from a distance. But I wasn’t satisfied. I carefully and quietly walked in the mud to get as close as I could with my wide angle lens. It’s always the case that when you have a wide angle lens installed you need a macro lens and vice versa. In a perfect world, I’d have two camera bodies – one for a wide angle lens and one for the macro.
There is a particular trail in the LBJ Grasslands that is Mushroom City. Here’s a look at a ‘shroom that caught my attention.
