Duck and the Grammar Dilemma

Not much to say about the photo.  It’s a duck I photographed last weekend.

I like getting at my subject’s level – so I snuck as close to the duck as possible.  Then I lay down on the grass to get the ideal angle.

Grammar Check for Lay vs Lie:  http://www.quickanddirtytips.com/education/grammar/lay-versus-lie
Observation:  Lie/Lay/Lain vs Lay/Laid/Laid are very confusing.  It was easier to photograph the duck than to figure out which word to use.
