A favorite aspect of my art is incorporating objects that people give me.  They become part of the art piece just as much as the component they contributed.  Additionally, people teach me new skills and lend me tools to apply to my art pieces.

“Inexplicable” is on display at the Lewisville Grand Theater, Part 1

Fresh Ideas 2023 is a juried event through the Visual Art League of Lewisville (VAL).  It is the only event that accepts submissions from members AND non-members.  There is no guarantee that you’ll get in as a member.  Every year the number of submissions increases – this year there were over 300 submissions and about 20% made the cut.

New Art Piece: Universal Language

This new piece is part of my ongoing “Remember Me” series.  I prepared the canvas earlier this year but had difficulty adding the components.  Early iterations had a different frame, photos, and orientation.  Nothing was working but I didn’t get discouraged.  The best part about the creative process is the moment when I know it’s right.
