I have art in the Small Works exhibition at the Lewisville Grand Theater!

Exhibit Dates: August 12 – September 16, 2023

Title:  An extra eye

Medium:  Assemblage art

Artist’s Statement:  Art can be confounding but don’t worry, here’s an extra eye to help you see clearly. 

About the materials:

• If memory serves me right, the bolt was a found object from Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge.
• Glass disc used in vases/home decor: Found object. I cropped a photo of my eye and attached to the glass.
• Wood base: During Covid/shelter in place, my neighbor trimmed my tree to stay busy.
• Dried flower: Found in the lawn at church, likely from a flower arrangement.
