I am Managing Editor for Designs in Machine Embroidery magazine. I’ve held this role since Volume 17, November/December 2002. (To give perspective, as I write this post, we just published Volume 111 July/August 2018). That’s quite a few issues I’ve helped produce!
Looking at the image shown, I am reminded I wrote the content for the “Software Resource Guide” mentioned on the cover. I was always fond of research in school. Writing the Resource Guides for the magazine was the logical first step in getting published. It also gave me a chance to learn more about the industry.
As technology changed over the years, we embraced social media and other platforms to share our love for machine embroidery with our readers, including a WordPress blog. Samples of my work are featured on Eileen’s Machine Embroidery Blog. Everything shown is my original writing.
