Today’s Random Object is provided by Karina Ramirez!
—————————————————————
I examined the pen Karina selected for Random Object Wednesday. It was a gift she received to help her remember her time in Ecuador.
I happened to have a map so I began my shoot using the map as a background.
The pen has a variety of colors, patterns and textures. Although I thought it would be best not to compete with these elements, I decided to use equally bright and busy backgrounds—stripes and polka dots.
The textured face is my favorite part of the pen.
I thought I was finished with this photo shoot. It was just a matter of scheduling the blog. But during that time I went to Europe and Karina asked for a postcard as a souvenir. She said I could mail it or bring it back with me.
When I returned from the trip I presented the postcard to her and she reminded me that I needed to write a message.
Write a message? But what do I write?
Time passed and I was at a loss. The postcard got shuffled around—I knew I had to write a message but put it off.
But after having a very pleasant conversation with Karina, I knew what to write and also thought it would be fun to combine it with her Random Object.

My favorite is the pen and map because of the colors and theme. I also like how you incorporated the pen and postcard by writing.
